DiLaura, Florence (Renzi)

Rochester: December 15, 2014 at age 82 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her loving husband, Robert; parents, Albert and Thomasina Renzi; brothers, Frank Renzi (Betty), Oliver Renzi; sister, Rena Lessard (Clem) and brother-in-law, Richard DiLaura. Survived by her beloved children, Patricia Lorenzen (Bob Rozler), Peter (Tara), Robert (Cynthia), Stephen (Sue), Karen Zimmerman (Paul); 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Josephine Renzi and Thelma DiLaura; aunt, Jane DeLuca; many nieces, nephews and cousins; especially Lill Leone and Nano D'Ercole; many friends, her "Madison girls" and especially Anita Principi for her loving care of Mom. Florence was a bookeeper for the Diocese of Rochester for over 40 years and volunteered as a bookeeper at St. Peter's Kitchen until last June. She was a master baker and cook. All who were fortunate to receive cookies or a meal were never disappointed. She fed the world not only with her culinary skills but her amazing faith, attitude, spirit of generosity and welcoming motherly care.

Friends may attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, December 19th 12PM at St. Monica's Church, 831 Genesee St. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made to St. Peter's Kitchen, P.O. Box 11031, Rochester, NY 14611.
