Chili: Monday, January 19, 2015. Predeceased by her husband, Aime (Bud). Survived by her daughters, Mary Jo Healy, Lisa (Craig) Conway and Sue (Paul) Lessard; 10 grandchildren, Lorraine (Jordan) Aiken, Diane Healy, Sara (Mike) Dambra, Marisa (Ryan) Healey, Brian (Katie) Conway, Lyn Lessard (Mike Olds), Joe Lessard, Matt Lessard, Amiee Lessard (John Vierthaler), Caresse Lessard; 7 great-grandchildren, Lyn's son, Andrew, Vincent, James and Mia Dambra, Landon, Aiden and Colton Healey ; sister-in-law, Betty Hamilton; cousin, Lois Stella; special niece, Mary Pat Brayer; cherished nieces and nephews; dear friends, Mary Ellen Wilkin and Ginny and Joe O'Keefe; and her Legacy Parklands family. Jane was born to Elizabeth (McAuley) and Charles Fernback in Rochester, NY. She grew up on Kernwood Avenue in the 19th Ward, attending St. Peter and Paul School on West Main St.  Jane then attended Mercy High School. 
Jane married Bud Messe in 1950. They continued to live on the west side, raising 3 daughters.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, Thursday 4-7. Funeral Mass Friday 10AM at Holy Ghost Church 220 Coldwater Rd. Interment St. Pius Cemetery.
