Minster,  Tracy L.

Scottsville: A gifted potter, photographer and resident of Scottsville, NY, died on January 6, 2017 at the age of 54, surrounded by those who loved her. Tracy is survived by her mother, Lois Minster; her daughters, Destiny (Adam) Whipple and Alexandria Minarik and son Jacob Minarik; brother, Brian (Mary) Minster; sister, Amy (Tom) Hudak and cherished grandchildren, Joe, Kyler and Brooklyn; niece, Korrine; nephew, Carson; and several aunts, uncles, and fans too numerous to count. She is predeceased by her father, Jack Minster in 1992 and granddaughter, McKenzie in 2012.

Tracy was a bit of a gypsy, having lived in FL, NM, OK, NY and SC, but loved having roots in Scottsville. Tracy was an incredibly talented and self-taught artist, often donating pieces to help fundraise for families suffering from illness. She will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Union Presbyterian Church of Scottsville on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 3PM, followed by a brief opportunity for personal condolences with the family at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rochester Chapter of Mended Little Hearts, 491 Granger Circle, Webster, NY 14580 or online at
