Rochester - At age 41 went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 22, 2018 in his Rochester apartment after a long, courageous battle with failing health. Survived by his parents, Arthur and Betty; siblings, Leja (Craig) Steinberger, Rebecca (Dana) Krebs and Jennifer (Mark) Barry; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and adoring friends. Known to most as "Steve-O" or "Big Steve", he was a gentle giant, adored by his family and many friends. He had a huge heart filled with endless love and compassion and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God" Matthew 5:8.

Albert W. Bullwinkel Sr.
Albert W. Bullwinkel was born on 13 April 1921 in Jersey City. He grew up in Maywood with brother, Dick and sister, Marge. In WWII he served with the Coast Guard and while stationed at Sandy Hook, NJ met his wife of 69 years, Henrietta (Betty) Hallanan(d. 2015). They raised their five children in Locust, New Jersey. After moving to Rochester with the Silicon Paper Company, he retired as president in 1982.   Read more...

Chili - David Sierk was born on May 19th 1943, in Lockport, NY, the year of the steel penny. He was the youngest of 3 (older siblings Jim and Joan) to his parents Ruth and Edgar. They moved to his grandparent's farm in Warsaw in 1956 where his fondest memories were of farm life and playing baseball and basketball at Warsaw Central High school. He moved on to St Bonaventure University where he famously dunked once in a basketball game (at 5'9 that was a feat!). The Lord reached out his loving arms to embrace Bettie Curry after a brief time in hospice care at Unity Hospital following a sudden illness. Her death capped a nearly 98-year life of service, devotion, and joy. She was born Elizabeth Lenore Wilker in Cleveland, Ohio to Friedrich and Viola (Hundertmark) Wilker, the youngest of three children. She graduated in 1939 from the Vogue School of Fashion Art in Chicago and became a highly skilled dressmaker.   Read more...

WEINREBER, Lyla R., Chili: Passed away on January 17, 2018 at age 93, comfortably and peacefully in hospice care as an Elder in Alice‚Äôs House at Cottage Grove Memory Care, in North Chili. Lyla was predeceased by her beloved husband of 71 years, Norman J. Weinreber. She is immediately survived by her children Roger (Mary) Weinreber of Gold Canyon, AZ & Judy (George) Coolbaugh of Conesus Lake, NY; grandsons Daniel S. (Marisa Dewa) Weinreber, Stephen P. (Nicole) Coolbaugh, and Marc A. (Aundrea) Weinreber; and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Carol Rice Arnold and Phyllis Rice Slaughenhaupt, and her brother, William A.
