Chili: Richard Leonard Strassman, (7/2/26-11/17/14) a lifelong Rochesterian, was a proud US Navy veteran who served on the USS Ranger Aircraft Carrier during WWII as a gunner's mate. After the war he attended and graduated from Paul Smith College on the G.I. Bill. A skilled carpenter, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth Reilly, in 1953, and together they built their lifelong home on Creekview Dr. in West Chili. He obtained long term employment as a carpenter at Eastman Kodak Co. until he retired.   Read more...

Greece: Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 22, 2014. Pat was born in Rochester, New York on June 25, 1922. She attended Holy Rosary Grammar School and Jefferson High School. Pat had striking looks. She worked as a model in her younger years in Rochester and New York. Later she went to school to become a teller. She worked at Lincoln Rochester Bank. She had a long career at Strong Memorial Hospital, as a supervisor in the admitting office, retiring in 1986. Pat is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Assunta Leva; her husband of 52 years, Robert, soul mates and best friends now reunited; and siblings Nick, Connie, Anna, Jimmy and Mary. Survived by her sons William (Amy), former daughter-in-law Nancy who was a cherished friend, Jeffrey (Katherine), and Thomas (Cindy); and 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Marnie, Jacob, Shane, Tess, Ben, Ostin, Nicholas, Robert and Michael, and 1 great-grandchild, Olivia. Pat is also survived by a sister, Mildred Branciforte, brothers Joseph, George and Jerry, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all.   Read more...
