Chili: Richard Leonard Strassman, (7/2/26-11/17/14) a lifelong Rochesterian, was a proud US Navy veteran who served on the USS Ranger Aircraft Carrier during WWII as a gunner's mate. After the war he attended and graduated from Paul Smith College on the G.I. Bill. A skilled carpenter, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth Reilly, in 1953, and together they built their lifelong home on Creekview Dr. in West Chili.
