I am so very sorry to learn of Jim’s illness and subsequent death. One doesn’t do a very good job of keeping up with family events 1500 miles away, but nevertheless I always care and am saddened to learn this news! Best wishes to you Sue and your children and grandchildren as you mourn Jim’s passing! Sincerely, Jane Wood

Nickie, Sue, Rachel and Courtney, I am sorry to hear about your Daddy, Husband and Grandfather’s passing. I have no words other than I pray he is resting peacefully. Nickie, I am really sorry about your Daddy. It is a hole that can not be filled. Be there for your Mommy as much as you can and remember everyone grieves different and You guys will be okay. Forget that and your family can implode, mine did. I send you a huge hug. Renee

I have such fond memories of Jim. He was always very family oriented and was a delight at the Ehrmentraut family picnics. When He and the elder men were playing cards you could hear the hooting and hollering. He was kind, friendly, funny and thoughtful. He was very good to my brother John after Chip died. He was a good man.

Larry and I were so surprised, but mostly saddened, to hear about Jim’s passing. We had no idea that he was ill, I’m sorry to say. We were recalling some of the wonderful times we had with you two at Lions Club functions or simply out and about. There were even a couple of weekends away, too, I believe. Know that we’re sending strength and keeping you in our thoughts. ...Love, Larry and Carol Rath
